Terrance L. Grant Obituary

Presque Isle, Maine - Terrance L. Grant, 79, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the Aroostook House of Comfort in Presque Isle. Terrance was born on May 22, 1946, in Presque Isle, Maine, to Randolph and Clara (Bell) Grant.

A proud 1965 graduate of Presque Isle High School, Terrance dedicated many years to his career and passions. After Terrance graduated high school, he went to work for the United States Air Force serving as a dry-cleaning technician at Loring Air Force Base for 29 years. To keep busy and remain active after his retirement, he moved to Bangor, where he worked in the kitchen at Kev-Lan for 10 years.

Terrance was a man who lived life on his own terms, finding joy in his cherished hobbies. He held a profound passion for collecting die-cast model cars and trucks, gathering a collection of over a few hundred vehicles. Known for being quiet and keeping to himself, Terrance was content and happy in his own way. He also took great pride in his truck, which he loved and meticulously kept clean.

Terrance was preceded in death by his parents, Randolph and Clara Grant; and his beloved sister, Peggy Keaton. He is survived by a loving extended family: his brother-in-law, Vaughn Keaton and his wife, Brenda; his nephews, Ben Keaton and his wife, Brandee, and Kevin Keaton and his wife, Allison. He also leaves behind numerous great-nephews and great-nieces, Jared Keaton and his wife, Liza, Matthew Keaton and his fiancée, Hue, Hunter Keaton and his wife, Caitlyn, and Marissa Keaton; great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, Addysin Keaton and Jaxon Keaton. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff at the A.R. Gould Hospital and the Aroostook House of Comfort for their exceptional care and compassion provided to Terrance.

A graveside service will be held later this spring at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle.
