Presque Isle, Maine - Scott Alan Cray Sr., 63, of Presque Isle, passed away unexpectedly on August 1, 2025, at Katahdin Shadows Campground in Medway. Scott was born on May 18, 1962, in Caribou to Spirdy Cray and Doris Goslin Cray.

He was a proud graduate of Presque Isle High School, class of 1980. Scott spent much of his professional life working in human resources and public relations for Walmart, and other local organizations, where his approachable nature and commitment to others made a lasting impact. He was endlessly proud of his work with the Children's Miracle Network. Known for his wit and generous spirit, Scott will be remembered for his humor, kindness, and willingness to lend a hand. He was a proud supporter of Wildcat sports and had a deep love for watching Patriots football, playing card games, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren - especially watching them play sports. He loved spending weekends at Katahdin Shadows Campground with his beloved wife, Lisa, and their cherished "camp family." Above everything, he was infinitely proud of his children and all they've accomplished and the lives they continue to build.

Scott is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Lisa Jean Cray; his four children, Aaron Cray and wife Jade, Scott Cray II and wife, Courtney, Brittany Delano and husband, Jacob, and Tyler Cray; and his treasured grandchildren, Barrett Delano, Harper Delano, Reese Cray, and Asher Delano. He is also survived by his siblings, Richard Cray and fiancée, Lynn Catheron, Arlene Hathaway, Bruce Cray, Jerry Cray and wife, Nancy, and Mark Cray; as well as many nieces, nephews, special in-laws, and dear friends who held Scott in the highest regard.

A celebration of life will be held at Presque Isle Snowmobile Club on August 24, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. His family invites all who would like to share in the memory of Scott to come by and enjoy a story, a few laughs, and his favorite appetizers. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Scott's honor to the American Heart Association or the Children's Miracle Network.
