Monticello - Sara Ann (Jeffery) Wotton - Loving wife, mother, and grandmother was welcomed home to heaven, Tuesday October 22, 2019, after a bravely fought battle with cancer.
Sara was a member of the Lake Road Baptist church in Monticello. She was strong in her faith and enjoyed praising the Lord loudly and proudly! Sara was a beautiful singer and even wrote her own hymns. She was well loved in the local equestrian community. She shared her riding expertise with countless children as a therapeutic riding instructor for Aroostook Horse and Pony Associates and Manes and Tales. Sara has held a variety of jobs in the community where she built many special relationships, at places like Aroostook Milling Company and Houlton Regional Hospital.
Sara was predeceased by her beloved father George Jeffery of Ludlow.
She is survived by her mother Lois Jeffery of Ludlow; loving husband John Wotton of Monticello; two sons: Jordan Wotton and his wife Miranda of Littleton, Jeffery Wotton and girlfriend Kayla Potrykus of Sherborn, MA; brother Ross Jeffery and wife Susan of Ludlow; two granddaughters Hayden Belyea and Rowan Wotton; a special aunt Shelley Taylor; as well as a very large and loving extended family.
A graveside service will be conducted 1 PM Saturday October 26, 2019 at Jewell Cemetery in Monticello with Pastor Phil Smith and the Rev. Carl DeMerchant officiating. The family invites relatives and friends to a reception at Lake Road Baptist Church Fellowship Hall immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to remember Sara in a special way may make gifts in her memory payable to Bridge To Hope in c/o Dunn Funeral Home 11 Park St. Houlton, ME 04730.

I will always remember your smile, your laugh that would fill the room, your love of singing, especially throwing me off key. I can still feel your hand in mine as we laughed and sometimes cried together. You will be forever in my heart. You helped make me a better person today. Love you always.
