Mars Hill, Maine - Richard "Ricky" Paul Lawrence, 66, of Mars Hill, Maine, unexpectedly passed away on December 11, 2025. He was born in Toronto, Ontario, on November 27, 1959, the son of Audrey (Stickney) and Lester Lawrence.

He moved to Mars Hill, Maine, with his family in 1962, where he continued his long, happy life.

He is survived by his mother, whom he deeply cherished, Audrey Lawrence; his brother, Stephen Lawrence and his partner, Sheryl Price; his sisters, Barbara Faye and her husband, David Faye, Deborah McEntee and her husband, David McEntee, and Danielle Lawrence and her husband, Kevin DeLong; his nieces and nephews, whom he created numerous memories with throughout the years, Stacy Curry, Amie McEntee, Andrea McEntee, Adam McEntee, Darci Faye, Dylan Shubelka, and Lauren Grass. He is also remembered by his two children. He was predeceased by his father, Lester Lawrence.

Ricky was very proud of his high school sports accomplishments in soccer and hockey. In 1976, he was the first CAHS soccer player elected to the Eastern Maine All-Star team. He went on to earn his GED and later graduated from NMVTI with a degree in auto body repair. Ricky worked diligently in his adult life, working alongside his father at the Lawrence Brother's Repair, McCain's, and for several local farmers. Ricky was known for his love of hockey, racing, collecting cards, coins, and repairing vehicles. Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing he is now at peace and surrounded by his loved ones in heaven.
