Castle Hill and Caribou, Maine - Pauline J. (McHatten) Dionne, 54, passed away Monday, November 10, 2025, after a courageous seventeen-year battle with brain cancer. She was born February 21, 1971, in Caribou, the daughter of Hugh R. Sandra L. (Colbath) McHatten.

Pauline grew up in Castle Hill and graduated from Presque Isle High School in 1989 and attended college at UMPI. She also worked for six years at Burrelles. She was brave, strong, and had a heart of gold. Pauline was a loving mother, daughter and sister. She enjoyed painting, poetry, and social events where she always showed up with the world's best sunshine cake.

In addition to her mother, Sandra, Pauline is survived by a daughter, Gloria E. Dionne; a son, Joseph P. Dionne; and her former husband, Phillip J. Dionne, who was there to support her during her illness. She also leaves behind a loving brother, Martin H. McHatten and his wife, Michelle (Gelinas) McHatten. Pauline was predeceased by her father, Hugh R. McHatten, in June 2025.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to remember Pauline in a special way may make gifts in her memory to the Aroostook House of Comfort, P.O.
