Houlton, Maine - Paul E. Raymond, 77, of Houlton, Maine, passed away on June 24, 2026, in his hometown. Born in Houlton on January 7, 1949, Paul was a man defined by his integrity, his unwavering work ethic, and his profound generosity.

Growing up, Paul learned the value of hard work while working at his family's business, Chadwick's Florist. His childhood was marked by happy summers spent at the family cottage on Drew's Lake in Frenchman's Cove, a place that remained close to his heart throughout his life. Following his graduation from college, Paul embarked on a distinguished career with Xerox that spanned nearly 40 years. A dedicated and highly respected professional, he was the recipient of numerous performance awards, always approaching his work with the same honesty and integrity that he brought to every aspect of his life. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Paul was a man who lived to give. Those who knew him best knew he would truly give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. Paul was very social and loved talking to everyone and anyone he encountered. Paul was also a proud member of the Sons of The American Legion. He cherished his children above all else, always prioritizing time spent with loved ones and teaching them the foundational importance of family. An avid cribbage player, Paul proudly carried on this long-standing Raymond tradition, often enjoying the game with friends and family. Among his other greatest joys was the annual tradition of heading to hunting camp with the same group of colleagues from Xerox - a bond of friendship that lasted for nearly 40 years. Paul leaves behind a legacy of love, respect, and kindness. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Paul is survived by his three children, Jeffrey Raymond and his wife, Jodi, Bruce Raymond and his partner, Terry, Karen Raymond Karam and her husband, Jim; Paul's special friend, Angie Brewer and her children, Sara and Hannah; his brother, Michael Raymond and wife, Sharon; sisters, Mary Beaulieu and husband, Fran, and Pat Amelotte; his four grandchildren, Ethan Sawyer Raymond, True, Baileigh, and Bella Karam; two great-grandchildren, Brooks and Jayde Marr; and many nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Sylvio and Thelma Raymond; and his older brother, Sylvio Raymond.
