Hodgdon - Lynn Marie Wallace, 62, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 27, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on January 27, 1957 in Houlton to Philip and Florence (Cole) Nason and grew up in the potato fields of Linneus with her four siblings. She loved the Lord and her family fiercely. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She married her high school sweetheart and lived out her life in Hodgdon where they raised their three children and doted on their 7 grandchildren. She took advantage of every opportunity to love and spend time with her family. She was a member of the Linneus Freewill Baptist Church and loved her job working with children in the Hodgdon school district.
She is survived by her beloved husband and best friend of 41 years, Carlton Wallace, of Hodgdon; one son and his wife, Michael & June Wallace of Scarborough; two daughters and their husbands: Amy & Timothy Witmer of Linneus and Sarah & Adam Canales of Niceville, FL; 7 special grandchildren: Malachi, Logan, and Kaylee Witmer, Carter and Isabella Canales, and Rose and Reid Wallace; her beloved mother, Florence Nason of Houlton; two brothers and their spouses: Terry and Beverly Nason of Houlton, Mark and Cindy Nason of Rustburg, Va; two sisters and their spouses: Vicky and Dennis Edwards of Alta Vista, Va, Sherry and Ted Bell of Rustburg,Va; many brother and sister-in-laws, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father Philip Nason.
A graveside service was held August 31st at the Linneus cemetery.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Lynn was a very special person. I was blessed to have her met her and Carlton and such a joy to spend time with them when they were in Zion. God bless all of you she will be missed. May God comfort as you heal.
