Goodyear, Arizona - Mrs. Louise Elizabeth (Cloutier) Archambault of Goodyear, AZ, died on Saturday, September 13, 2025. She was born July 29, 1949, in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada, to Yvon Cloutier and Gertrude (Martin) Cloutier.

Louise grew up in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada, and attended and graduated from L'Ecole Cormier High School in 1967. Louise kept in touch throughout the years with many of her high school classmates and attended reunions whenever possible when coming "back home" to visit her sisters, brothers, and friends, whom she loved dearly and was very close to.

Louise was a lover of music and from a very young age she found her love and joy of singing, starting as young as when she was babysitting and singing to her youngest brother, Norman. Her joy of singing allowed her to be the lead singer of a hometown band called the Lights of Darkness, for which she sang for 4 years. Louise also picked up learning how to play the alto saxophone as an adult, inspiring both of her children to play musical instruments.

Louise worked as a legal secretary for 2 years prior to moving to Montreal to pursue a career as an airline stewardess with Eastern Provincial Airlines fulfilling another one of her passions - traveling.

Shortly after moving to Montreal Louise was courted (read chased) by Dad, James Thomas Archambault. After several months of pursuit, they were married at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Dec. 14, 1974, in a beautiful winter ceremony.

Louise's life was forever changed with the birth of her first son, Brian James Archambault on June 15, 1976, in which she transitioned into a quintessential stay-at-home mom. Her role solidified with the birth of her second son, Nathan Adam Archambault on May 20, 1977.

After over a decade, Jim and Louise agreed to take a chance on moving out to Wisconsin. This decision was not reached easily as both Jim and Louise had all of their family in Maine and New Brunswick.

Rothschild, Wisconsin, provided the entire family with opportunities, as a larger city often does. Louise formed many relationships during her time in Wisconsin, relationships that up to the day of her passing she continued to nurture and foster. From neighbors on Southridge Drive to hockey Moms that she traveled with throughout the years, Louise created a strong network of friends during her time in Wisco. After retiring from Weyerhaeuser Jim and Louise moved back "Home" to Madawaska, Maine, where it all began and where they were once again surrounded by childhood friends and family.

Upon the passing of her soulmate in 2013, Louise made another difficult decision to once again leave Aroostook County and move to Pebble Creek in sunny Goodyear, AZ. Mom loved the sun and the heat of the desert and wanted to be close to her son. Louise settled into the Desert Lifestyle well and made friends quickly and easily who also became very significant to her. Pebble Creek offered Louise the opportunity to join many social groups: the singles group, karaoke, wine club, republican club, italian club, the french club and to play golf. Louise continued to share her passion and love of music and singing within the karaoke group and even had the opportunity to sing with a band again. She traveled abroad to Italy with one of the groups and several times to Rocky Point, Mexico, her monthly calendar was always full. Louise loved music and loved to sing, I have no doubt that she is now singing with the Angel's Choir in Heaven and her song will forever live in our hearts.

Louise is survived by her two sons, Brian Archambault (Christian Archambault) and Nathan Archambault; sisters, Patricia Martin (Bernard Martin, deceased) and Norma Rossignol (Roger Rossignol); brothers, Charles Cloutier (Micheline Cloutier) and Norman Cloutier. (Linda Cloutier); and granddaughter, Emma Archambault. Louise was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Archambault; father, Yvon Cloutier; and mother, Gertrude (Martin) Cloutier.

A celebration of life will be held on October 17, 2025, beginning with a Mass at St. Clare of Assisi in Surprise, AZ, at 10:30 a.m. A celebration of life will ensue in the Church Hall from 12 to 2 p.m.
