Caribou - Kenneth E. Gordon, 90, died March 20, 2020. He was born in Winn on May 16, 1929; the son of Henry and Edith (Eastman) Gordon. Ken attended Winn and Caribou schools, graduating from Caribou High School. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Gordon worked for the State of Maine Department of Transportation as a Motor Transport Division Supervisor, retiring in 1982 with 36 years of service.
Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Lois J. Gordon; a son Jeffrey and his partner James Boissonneault of Lawrence, Massachusetts; three stepsons: Michael and his wife Kathy Thompson, Joseph Thompson and his Fiancé Pamela Mickeriz Davis, and Matthew and his wife Denise Thompson; son-in-law David Tupper; five step-grandchildren: Nicholas, Darren, Timothy, Kayla, and Michael; two step-great grandchildren Paisley and Emerson four nieces: Susan, Barbara, Judy, and Sharon.
Kenneth was predeceased by his first wife Beryl (Adams) Gordon in 1978; a daughter Jennifer, formerly of Tamworth, NH; a stepdaughter Lynn; a sister Thelma Scott; and two brothers Harlen and Louis.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held later in the Spring or early Summer.
Burial will be at a later date at the Maine Veterans' Cemetery, Augusta, Maine. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Evangelical Covenant Church of New Sweden, Maine.
