Bangor, Maine - Judy Lorraine Sullivan, born September 23, 1941, in Howland, Maine, passed peacefully on March 30, 2026, surrounded by her beloved husband, daughter, and sister. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was marked by deep faith, and unwavering love for those closest to her.

Judy shared more than 66 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Melvin Leroy Sullivan - a lifelong partnership grounded in devotion, resilience, and enduring commitment. She was the cherished daughter of Thelma Drost and was lovingly raised by Percy Drost. Judy is survived by her sisters, Gloria, Lettie, Alta, and Carol, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Sharon Sheppard and son-in-law, Mark. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Elizabeth Cameron (Ryan), Garett Pierson (Jasmine), Collin Sullivan, and Ryan Sullivan. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Henry, Samuel, Adam, Elliott, and Eleanor, each of whom brought her deep joy. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Stephen, who remained forever in her heart.

Judy was a faithful member at several churches throughout her life - Caribou Assembly of God, Wellesley Park Assembly of God and Northside Assembly of God, where she served and built lasting relationships within their church community. Her faith was a quiet but steady foundation throughout her life, expressed through love, perseverance, and devotion to Jesus, her family and friends.

She leaves behind many cherished family members and dear friends across Maine, Massachusetts, and Florida - the three places she called home throughout the years.

Judy will be remembered for her steadfast love, her enduring faith, and the deep roots she planted in her family. Psalm 23:6 "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
