Sherman - Jeremiah Joseph Lynch Jr. 86, Sherman, died from Lewy Body Dementia November 29, 2019 in Houlton. He was born June 25, 1933 in Boston and raised in Lawrence, Mass.
He was a veteran having served from 1951 through 1954 for the US Coast Guard during the Korean War. He sailed with the crew of the cutter Matagorda #327 out of Boston. He retired from the Mass electric company after 39 1/2 years service and was a member of the IBEW. He was a VFW member at Post 2299 in the Sherman area and the American Legion post 0080 in Millinocket. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the out of doors in Maine.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years Linda B. (Fuller) Lynch of Sherman; two daughters Roberta and her husband Kirk Poucher of Salem, New Hampshire, and Felecia and her husband Rick Ruediger of Atkinson, New Hampshire; a step son Eric Hammer and his wife Lisa of Kingston, New Hampshire; two grandchildren Danny and Kylie Poucher.
The family would like to thank the staff at Houlton Regional Hospital for all their care and compassion.
A graveside funeral service will be announced in the spring by Bowers Funeral Home.
