Coventry, Connecticut - Jeannine (Gallant) Nadeau, 86, of Coventry, CT, passed on August 2, 2026. Born on December 15, 1939, in New Brunswick, Canada, to Odilon Gallant and Jullienne Bourque.

She was married to Ronald Nadeau on July 20, 1963. After a brief stint as a teacher and then retail, Jeannine, alongside her husband, opened Sabina Pools in 1970, where she worked as bookkeeper for more than 50 years. Outside of work she loved to knit, bowl, find just the right gift to surprise you and most of all, throw a good party. Her home always had guests, where she was called "Aunt Jeannine" no matter the relation.

Jeannine is survived by her husband, Ronald; daughter, Nicole Nadeau and her husband, Howard Markwell, of Portland, Oregon; her three grandchildren, Logan, Taylor and Acadia Markwell; sister, Sister Leozee Gallant; and many nieces and nephews. Jeannine was predeceased by daughter, Cynthia; son, Mark; sisters, Zella Saulnier, Ozita Legere, Dora Gallant, and Viola LeBlanc; and brothers, Herve Gallant, Elric Gallant, Ola Gallant. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester, CT. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 12 p.m. at St. Mary Church, 1600 Main St., Coventry, CT, followed by burial at St. Mary's Cemetery.
