Patten, Maine - Jeannette M. Prescott, 84, died at home with family by her side on July 29, 2026. She was born to Mary Jane (Saucier) and Peter L. Raymond of Island Falls on December 29, 1941.

After her dad's death, she dropped out of school to work and help her mom provide for her family. Upon marrying our dad, she worked on the family farm and at the local starch plant. She later worked as a store clerk locally enjoying greeting people and children. She also went back to school and graduated and then obtained her CNA. She worked for VNA, Mountain Heights Nursing Home, and HRH providing compassionate, loving care to her patients often times, putting a smile on their faces.

Mom was predeceased by her parents; and our dad, Kenneth F. Prescott Sr., whom she was married to for a little more than 50 years. Together, they demonstrated strong work ethics, kindness and compassion, love and respect for one another and others. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Regina (Keith) McManus, Rudolph Raymond, Albert (Linda) Raymond, and Rodney Raymond; and one grandson, Kenneth F. Prescott III. She is survived by her children, Kenneth F. (Lisa) Prescott Jr., Deborah (Patrick) Small, and Lisa (Mike) Harvey, with whom she resided the last 13 years; grandchildren, Derek (Audrey) Violette, Courtney Hatch, Lucas Violette, Shelby Violette, Monica (Matthew) Mehrhoff, Amanda Cote, and Brady Hatch; great-grands, Jaron and Kenley Violette, Mason, Hadley, Violet Hatch, Collin and Gavin Mehrhoff; a sister, Gloria Slauenwhite; sisters-in-law, Brenda Raymond, Sue Prescott, and Merlyne Ryan; and brother-in-law, Albert Clukey.

A Catholic Mass will take place 11 a.m. on Sept. 18, 2026, at St. Agnes Church in Island Falls. A burial will immediately following at St. Agnes Cemetery in Island Falls, and a luncheon after at the VFW in Island Falls.
