Perham, Maine - Frederick "Uncle Freddy" Curtis awoke in the arms of his savior Jesus Christ on May 15, 2026. Frederick was born to the late Nathan and Dora Curtis on December 11, 1934, in Perham, Maine.

Frederick was an accomplished commercial painter and tradesman. He was well known for his acts of service to his family and could often be seen transporting van loads of family and friends to many events. He was lovingly known to all those he knew as "Uncle Freddy," related or not. Freddy had a quick smile and a contagious laugh and will be dearly missed.

Uncle Freddy is survived by his sister, Esther of Maine; brother, Maynard and wife, Sharon, of Connecticut; brother, Emory of Alaska. Freddy was predeceased by brothers, Elmer and Clyde; and sisters, Mildred, Rosanna, Idella, Barbara, and Ella.

A graveside service will be held June 6 at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Perham, ME.
