Woodland, Maine - Freddie R. Brown Jr., 68, died August 7, 2025, in Caribou. He was born in Fort Fairfield, July 24, 1957, the son of the late Freddie and Phyllis (Adams) Brown Sr.

Freddie attended Caribou schools, and married Harriet Gilliam on December 9, 1976. Freddie was a self-employed truck driver for many years, and also worked for several area trucking companies. He attended the First Baptist Church of Woodland. Freddie loved to fish especially deep-sea fishing.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Harriet, are two sons, Herbert Brown and Elisha Brown and wife, Lori, all of Woodland; his siblings, Steven Brown and wife, Judy, of Woodland, Preston Brown of Limestone, Sheila Foss of Woodland, Kenneth Brown and wife, Linda, of TN, Wendy-Jo St. Pierre and husband, Steven, of Perham; seven grandchildren, Christian Ayer, Mickayla Ellis, Ethan Fulton-Brown, Sebastian Fulton-Brown, Levi Brown, Rawlie Morrow and Kalin Phillips.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Mockler Funeral Home from 12 p.m. until time of services which will be held at 1 p.m. from the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Ron Rosser officiating. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery. mocklerfuneralhome.com
