Westfield, Maine - Eleanor G. Putnam, 96, passed away November 23, 2025, at Southern Acres Boarding Home in Westfield. She was born November 26, 1928, in Island Falls, the daughter of Fred and Carrie (Springer) Ellis.
She is survived her children: a son, Timothy Putnam and his wife, Laura, of Millsboro, Delaware, a son, Joey Putnam, and two daughters, Sherry Weaver of Mapleton, and Darcie Putnam; several grandchildren; her siblings, Norma Smith of Limestone, Edwina Lovley of Mapleton, Bernice "Suzie" Campbell of Oakfield, and Sheldon Ellis of Presque Isle, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Putnam; two daughters, Barbara Putnam and Pamela Dyer; her siblings, Lloyd, Floyd and Eugene Ellis, and Marilyn Churchill.
A funeral service was held 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Bowers Funeral Home in Presque Isle. Spring interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Presque Isle. Online condolences may be shared at bowersfuneral.com.
