HOULTON - Elaine L. Miller, 62, passed away on September 6, 2019 in Houlton after a brief but brave battle with cancer. Elaine was born Dec. 2, 1956 in Woodstock, New Brunswick to Carl & Verna (Grant) Flemming.

Elaine graduated from Woodstock High School in 1974. She married the love of her life, Glenn, and moved to Houlton, Maine in June 1975

Family was everything to Elaine; having her children and grandchildren live in Florida didn't stop their daily conversations and interactions via FaceTime and phone conversations. Elaine worked at County Federal Credit Union in Houlton where she had a very special work family. When not at work, camping was Elaine's passion. She loved the social time and relaxing with her many friends. Elaine also enjoyed traveling to many destinations until family moved to Florida and then she made many trips to Florida.

Elaine will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 44 years, Glenn; daughter, Casie of Florida; son, Josh and his wife, Bailey, and their children: MacKenzie, Carson and Emerie of Florida; brothers: Bill (Joan) Flemming and Jim (Lorie) Flemming both of Woodstock, NB; as well as several aunts, uncles nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Carl & Verna (Grant) Flemming.

Friends may call from 12-2 PM, Thurs., Sept. 12 at the Houlton Wesleyan Church followed by the funeral service at 2 PM with Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery.
