Frenchville, Maine - Donald P. Raymond, 85, of Athol, MA, and Frenchville, ME, passed on July 29, 2026, at Heywood Hospital in Gardner, MA, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of Patrick Raymond and Rose Anna (Berube) Raymond.

He was predeceased by his mother and father; four brothers, Lionel Raymond, ONeil Raymond, Gerard Raymond, who died in the Korean Conflict, and Leo Raymond; and one sister, Lucille (Lucy) Engle. Don is survived by his wife, Earlene of Frenchville, ME; a daughter, Pam (Raymond) Harris and her husband, Joe, of Athol, MA; one granddaughter, Harper Harris of Rimrock, AZ; one grandson, Adam Harris of Athol, MA; one great-granddaughter, Alina Barrett of Rimrock, AZ, and her father, Mike Barrett, of MA; and many cousins, nieces and nephews, and close friends.

Don served honorably in the United States Army from 1960 to 1963. Don was a long time employee of Fraser Paper in Madawaska, ME, retiring in 2003.

At his request, there will be no church service. A military graveside service will be at a later date in Maine.
