Mars Hill and Easton, Maine - Chad Jason Gallop, born on August 14, 1975, left us unexpectedly on August 11, 2026, in Presque Isle, Maine. Chad was a beloved son of Ronald "Ronnie" Gallop and the late Linda (Murphy) Gallop.

He was preceded in death by his mother; his maternal grandparents, Orman and Ruby (Crouse) Murphy; his paternal grandparents, Chestley and Lillian (Wilson) Gallupe; and beloved aunts and uncles, Dana and Deanna (Murphy) Collins, Stephen Murphy, Rodney Fulton, Vida and Ronald Ryder, and Susan (Gallop) Flewelling. He is survived by his father; brother, Travis and his wife, Jesse (Ralph) Gallop; and sister, Ashley and her husband, Caleb Priest. His memory will also be cherished by his aunt, Susan (Murphy) Fulton; uncle, Robert "Bob" Murphy; uncle, Alan and aunt, Carol Gallup; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Chad was a proud graduate of CAHS Mars Hill, class of 1994. His career took him to VMS, Big Cheese Pizza, and Shiretown Shuttle Service, where he was known for his dedication and warm spirit. Chad's love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for fishing, photography, and scenic drives to Bangor and the Maine coast. He was a quiet guy who expressed his kindness and generosity through his love of cooking, touching the lives of many around him. Chad will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His gentle spirit and love for nature will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
