Caribou, Maine - Catherine "Kitty" Fox, 84, of Caribou, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 28, 2025. She was born on October 10, 1941, in Jersey City, New Jersey, the daughter of Bernard and Ellen Caffaro.

Kitty lived an adventure-filled life marked by faith, love, and devotion to her family. She had a gift of contentment and found joy in all the little things, like nature and just being with loved ones. Kitty retired from the United States Postal Service in West New York, New Jersey, where she had served as a postal clerk for more than twenty years. In her retirement, she purchased an RV and spent time traveling solo along the East Coast - stopping to spend time with family and make new friends along the way. She set up her home base in Hixson, Tennessee, following the birth of her first grandchild, and then followed her grandchildren to northern Maine.

She is survived by her three children, Terri Zell of Schertz, TX, Frank (Denae) Zell of Cincinnati, OH, and James (Bethany) Zell of Caribou, ME; three granddaughters, Christina and Emily Zell both of Caribou, ME, and Elizabeth (Spencer) Soucy of Raeford, NC; sister Nancy Smit of Titusville, FL; brother, Bernard (Ann) Caffaro of Port St. Lucie, FL; and several special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Carole Bouchard.

A service celebrating her life and faith was held at State Street Baptist Church in Presque Isle, Maine, on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Buck Booker officiating. Arrangements by Duncan-Graves Funeral Home in Presque Isle, Maine.
