Mapleton - Brian Allen Buck, Jr. died March 21, 2020, as the result of a tragic snowmobile accident. He was born August 12, 1994, the son of Brian Sr. and Pamela Buck.
Brian graduated from Presque Isle High School and Northern Maine Community College, with a degree in plumbing and heating. He enjoyed his career with NEI of Ashland. His job took him all over the State and New England, but he was a true County boy at heart. He was a hard worker and a lot of fun to be around. BJ loved hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. He loved his dirt bikes and snow sleds from a young age, or anything he could drive; but surprisingly, Emily even got him to go snowshoeing. He loved her and their dog Tripp.
Brian was predeceased by his grandparents Jack Sr. and Mattie Buck and his grandfather Vaughn Porter.
He is survived by his parents, Brian and Pam; brother Justin; sister Aubrey; girlfriend Emily Gardner; sister Jennifer and her husband Jeff, sister Carrie; grandmother Sandra Porter; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and so many good friends. There are too many names to mention but you know who you are. Our hearts are broken.
Family and friends may call on the family on Friday, March 27, 2020, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at Duncan Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St. Presque Isle. Visits will be limited to small groups for short periods of time. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 28, 2020, at 11:00 am for family members by invitation only at the funeral home.
Please do not send flowers. Brian was a board member of the Atlantic Salmon for Northern Maine club. If you wish, please send donations to them in his memory. ASNM P.O. Box 833, Presque Isle Maine 04769.
