Houlton and New Limerick, Maine - Brian W. Beals, 64, passed away with his family by his side August 1, 2025, in New Limerick. He was born December 6, 1960, in Houlton, the son of Merton and Nancy (Tyrell) Beals.

Brian graduated from Houlton High School in 1979. Out of high school, Brian served in the Army National Guard for seven years. He dedicated forty-two years as a firefighter for the town of Houlton, and thirty-seven years as a school bus driver for RSU 29. He also managed several apartment buildings around town throughout his lifetime.

A "jack-of-all-trades," there wasn't much Brian couldn't do. He will be remembered as a selfless and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved camping, side-by-side rides, dancing, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his mother and father-in-law. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Lisa (Roy) Beals; daughters, Holly Westerdahl and husband, Josh, and Jamie Hardy and husband, Billy; son, Josh Beals and wife, Whitney; brothers, David Beals and wife, Billie-Jo, and Michael Beals and wife, Shelly; sister, Rachel Green and husband, Gary; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends; as well as his fire department and RSU 29 families.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call 12-2 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Houlton Wesleyan Church, 18 Kelleran St., Houlton, where a service will be held 2 p.m. with the Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating. Interment will be held in Evergreen Cemetery, Houlton.
