Brent Allison Gibson Obituary

Bath, Maine - Brent Allison Gibson, 69, formerly of Houlton, Maine, passed away on December 10, 2025, in Scarborough, Maine.

Brent lived in Marietta, Georgia, for many years and worked as an electrician in the Atlanta area. For the last 15 years of his working life, he worked for Huff Electric Inc. out of Dallas, Georgia, and he valued the friendships he made through the years - especially with his close work friends, Deb, Don, and JT.

In 2023 Brent moved back to Maine with his son, Joshua "Josh" Torrey. They shared many great times together - full of laughs and moments that will be held close.

Brent was the son of Lillian E. (Grant) Gibson and Charles Gibson. He is survived by his son, Josh; his siblings, Lynn (Frederick) Taylor, Brian Gibson, and Krista Bustamante; and extended family and friends who loved him dearly. He also held close in his heart Catherine and Barry Spofford, along with their dog, Cedar, whom Brent truly loved.

Brent enjoyed listening to music, and few things made him happier than The Rolling Stones. He also loved baking pies - so much so that some people affectionately called him "Pie." His warmth, sense of humor, and steady presence will be deeply missed.

No services will be held.
